Okay, so, the other day I kept seeing the number 5551 everywhere. Like, on license plates, receipts, clocks – it was seriously following me around. I’ve always been a little bit intrigued by angel numbers, so I decided to look into it. At first, I just did a quick search and saw it was about “major life changes.” That’s pretty vague, right?
So I thought, ‘Screw it, let’s try to actually apply this and see what happens.’ Instead of just passively reading about it, I wanted to actively engage with the idea of embracing change.
My Experiment with 5551 Begins
First thing I did: I made a list. Not a to-do list, but a “things I’ve been putting off” list. You know, those things that feel scary or uncomfortable, but you know you should probably do? For me, it was stuff like:
- Finally cleaning out my storage unit (ugh).
- Having a tough conversation with a friend that I’d been avoiding.
- Starting that online course I’d been thinking about for months.
Next step: I picked one thing from the list – the online course. It felt like the least intimidating, but still a significant step. I enrolled. Boom. Just like that. And you know what? It felt GOOD. Like a little weight had been lifted.
Then, the messy part: That tough conversation. It was awkward, and uncomfortable, and I definitely stumbled over my words. But I did it. And afterward, even though it wasn’t perfect, I felt a sense of relief. And, surprisingly, it actually improved the friendship in the long run.
The Results (So Far)
The storage unit? Still a work in progress. But I’ve made a start! I’ve gotten rid of a bunch of stuff, and it feels like I’m actually making progress instead of just thinking about it.
Seeing 5551 everywhere got me to do things instead of just thinking about them. It’s not magic, of course. I still had to put in the work. But it was that little nudge I needed to get started. To stop being so passive and actually embrace the possibility of positive change. I am kind of excited and waiting for what will happen next. It’s all still unfolding, but I’m definitely feeling more…open. Like I’m actively participating in my life instead of just watching it go by.
