Okay, so I kept seeing the number 868 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks – you name it. It was getting a little freaky, so I decided to look into it. I mean, it had to mean something, right?
First, I googled “868 angel number”. Lots of stuff about positive energy, new beginnings, and financial abundance popped up. Sounded pretty good to me!
My 868 Experiment
I figured, why not try to embrace this whole 868 thing? I decided to use it as a kind of… guiding principle for a week.
- Morning Affirmations: Every morning, I woke up and repeated some positive affirmations, focusing on the themes I’d read about: abundance, success, and new opportunities. I even wrote them down in my journal, just to make it feel more real. I just keep saying “I am open to abundance, I am ready for good things, 868 is my lucky sign, let’s make it!”
- Looking for Opportunities: I started paying more attention to things around me. Was there a new project at work I could volunteer for? A class I’d been meaning to take? I just tried to be more open to new possibilities. It’s like, instead of just zoning out on my commute, I actually looked at the billboards and flyers.
- Financial Awareness: I’m not gonna lie, the “financial abundance” part of the 868 meaning was pretty appealing. So, I took a closer look at my spending habits. I downloaded a budgeting app (finally!) and started tracking where my money was going. No drastic changes, just more awareness.
What Actually Happened
Honestly? It wasn’t like I won the lottery or anything. But, I did notice some shifts.
I felt more… proactive. Like, instead of just letting things happen to me, I was actively looking for ways to improve my situation. I ended up volunteering for a new project at work, which was a little scary, but also exciting. And, being more mindful of my spending made me realize I could actually save a decent chunk of money each month without really sacrificing anything important.
The biggest thing, though, was probably just the mindset shift. By focusing on the positive meanings associated with 868, I felt more optimistic and open to new possibilities. And that, in itself, was pretty valuable.
So, is 868 a magic number? Maybe, maybe not. But using it as a prompt to be more positive and proactive definitely made a difference for me. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I’ll take it!
