Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole astrology thing, and I decided to focus on my sun and moon signs. I’m a Capricorn sun and Cancer moon – sounds kinda intense, right?

Getting Started
First, I spent some time just reading up. I googled stuff like “Capricorn traits” and “Cancer moon meaning.” I found a bunch of websites, some were kinda “woo-woo,” but others seemed pretty solid. I took notes on the common themes I was seeing.
Diving Deeper into Capricorn Sun
For Capricorn, it was all about being practical, ambitious, disciplined. You know, the whole “get stuff done” vibe. I started thinking about how that actually plays out in my life. Like, yeah, I’m pretty organized, and I do like to have a plan. I realized I get super stressed when things are chaotic or I don’t feel in control. I jotted down some examples of times I felt like a “typical Capricorn” – like that time I planned my entire vacation itinerary down to the minute. I admit I felt a bit over the top, but it did make the trip a little relaxing for myself.
Exploring My Cancer Moon
Then I moved on to the Cancer moon part. This seemed to be all about emotions, intuition, and needing to feel secure. I learned Cancer moons are supposed to be super sensitive and nurturing. I thought, “Okay, that kinda fits, too.” I definitely feel things deeply, and I’m a big softie when it comes to my friends and family, maybe too soft sometimes.
Putting It Together
The interesting part was seeing how these two signs interact. I read that Capricorn suns can be a bit reserved, while Cancer moons are, like, the opposite. It’s this internal push-pull between wanting to be strong and independent, and also craving emotional connection.
I am starting to figure it out now that I think about it.
I started to notice this in my own life. Like, I might spend all day working hard and being super productive (Capricorn!), but then I’ll come home and just want to curl up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea (Cancer!).
- I noticed that, I can be very emotional sometimes.
- I noticed that, I have a lot of “get stuff done” type energy, too!
My Observations
I kept a little journal for a week, just writing down moments where I felt like my sun or moon sign was really showing up. I noticed how I reacted to different situations – did I approach things with that Capricorn practicality, or did I lead with my Cancer intuition? It was kinda like being a detective in my own life!
It’s still a work in progress, but I feel like I’m starting to understand myself a little better. It’s not about perfectly fitting into these astrological boxes, but more about recognizing these different parts of myself and how they all work together. It helped me realize that I am capable of many things!
