Okay, so I’ve been diving into astrology lately, and I wanted to see what this “transit Sun square Sun” thing was all about. I basically looked up my chart for today to see what was going on.

I found out that my natal Sun is in Leo, because, you know, I’m a Leo. Then I checked the current planetary positions – the “transits” – to see where the Sun is right now. Turns out, the Sun is currently in a sign that’s 90 degrees away from Leo, forming that “square” aspect. It’s in Scorpio now.
Next, I started digging into what this particular aspect means. From what I gathered, Sun square Sun transits are often about challenges. It’s like, your core self (natal Sun) is being poked and prodded by the current energies (transit Sun). It can bring up issues around your ego, your will, and how you express yourself.
My Experience
I noticed a few things throughout the day.
- I felt more irritable than usual. Little things that normally wouldn’t bother me were getting under my skin.
- I had a harder time focusing. My mind kept wandering, and I felt a bit restless.
- I also experienced a bit of a clash with a family, a minor disagreement that felt more intense than it should have.
After experiencing those feelings, I decided to be extra mindful of my reactions. I took some deep breaths when I felt myself getting annoyed, and I tried to be more patient with others. I also made a conscious effort to channel that restless energy into something productive, like doing a workout and working on a personal project.
It wasn’t a super dramatic day, but I definitely felt the subtle tension of that square aspect. It was like an underlying current of frustration and a need to assert myself. By being aware of it, I think I managed to navigate it okay. But it’s not a transit I am looking forward to experiencing very often.
