Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “aquarius sun moon rising” thing all over my FYP, and I got curious. I’m not really into astrology, but I figured, why not? Let’s see what this whole sun, moon, and rising sign stuff is about.
First, I needed to find out what my signs even are. I vaguely knew my sun sign (it’s the one everyone knows, based on your birthday), but that was it. So, I googled “birth chart calculator.” I found a site, popped in my birthday, birth time (thanks, Mom!), and the city I was born in. And boom! There it was.
My Big Three
- Sun: Turns out I’m a Sagittarius. Okay, cool, I knew that. Fire sign, adventurous, whatever.
- Moon: This one surprised me – Gemini. Apparently, this means I’m emotionally, like, adaptable and curious. I can kinda see that.
- Rising: This is the one that’s supposed to be how you present yourself to the world, your “mask,” so to speak. Mine’s Libra. Harmony, balance, aesthetics… huh.
So, I had my three signs. Now what? I went back to searching, this time looking up “Sagittarius sun Gemini moon Libra rising.” I found a few articles and some forum threads. It was a lot of information, some of it pretty contradictory.
I started by reading about each sign individually. Sagittarius, I already had a basic idea. Gemini moon… that was interesting. It talked about needing a lot of mental stimulation and being prone to changing my mind a lot. Okay, guilty. Then Libra rising – it said I probably come across as charming and diplomatic, which, I don’t know, maybe?
Then I tried to piece it all together. How do these three signs interact? That’s where it got a little muddy. Some sources said the Sagittarius fire and Gemini air would make me super outgoing and talkative, while the Libra rising would temper that a bit, making me more concerned with keeping the peace.
Honestly, I spent a good couple of hours just reading and trying to make sense of it all. I even ended up taking notes, scribbling down phrases that resonated with me.
The final verdict? I’m not sure. It’s definitely interesting to think about. Do I feel like a completely different person after this deep dive? Not really. But it did give me a few things to ponder. Maybe I am a little more Gemini-moon than I thought. And maybe that Libra rising explains why I hate confrontation so much. Who knows? It’s all kind of fun, in a weird way.
I wouldn’t say I’m a convert to astrology or anything, but it was a fun little experiment. Maybe I’ll look into it more, maybe I won’t. For now, I’m just going to go back to scrolling, armed with this slightly new, slightly confusing self-knowledge.
