Okay, so the other day I kept seeing the number 1040 everywhere. On the clock, on a license plate, even on a receipt. It was weird! I’m not usually one for “angel numbers,” but it felt like more than a coincidence. So, I decided to, you know, do something about it.

My 1040 Experiment
First, I grabbed my journal. I like to write things down, helps me think. I jotted down “1040” at the top of the page and just started brainstorming what it could possibly mean for me.
I decided to break it down. I mean, 1040 is just a combination of 1, 0, and 4, right? So, I spent some time thinking about what those individual numbers might represent in my life right now.
- 1: New beginnings? I’ve been feeling the itch to start a new project…
- 0: This one felt tricky. Wholeness? Emptiness? Maybe a need to let go of something?
- 4: Stability, foundations. Okay, this resonated. I have been working on getting my life more organized.
After that, I spent a few minutes just meditating on those ideas. Nothing fancy, just closed my eyes and breathed, letting the thoughts come and go. It was surprisingly calming.
Then, I decided to get practical. I made a list of small actions I could take that related to those number meanings. For “1” (new beginnings), I wrote down “research online courses.” For “0” (letting go), I added “clean out my closet.” And for “4” (stability), I put “set up a weekly budget.”
The next few days, I actually followed through. I signed up for a short course on creative writing (something I’ve always wanted to do!), I donated a bunch of clothes I never wear, and I finally sat down and figured out a simple budget spreadsheet.
Honestly, it felt good! I don’t know if 1040 was a “message” from the universe or whatever, but the process of reflecting on it and taking action definitely helped me get unstuck in a few areas. It was like a little nudge to pay attention to what I really wanted and to actually do something about it. It’s like, paying atttention lead to, action, you know.
So, yeah, that’s my 1040 story. Maybe it’s all just in my head, but it was a fun little experiment anyway!
