Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, like really deep. It’s been more than just checking my daily horoscope, you know? I started digging into my birth chart, and things got interesting. I’m an Aquarius Sun, which I always knew, but then I found out I’m a Virgo Rising. And let me tell you, figuring out what that actually means has been a journey.

Getting Started
First, I had to, like, actually find my rising sign. I knew my birth date and time(thanks, Mom!), but I needed my exact birth location. Used on online calculator, punched in all my info, and boom – Virgo Rising. My initial reaction? “Huh, Virgo? Really?” I always thought of Virgos as, like, super organized and detail-oriented, and… well, let’s just say my desk doesn’t always reflect that.
The Research Rabbit Hole
Then started the obsessive Googling. I mean, I went down the rabbit hole. I read tons of articles, watched some YouTube videos(some were helpful, other…not so much),I even tried to find a book! I was trying to piece together this puzzle of how these two very different energies – Aquarius’s rebellious, independent streak and Virgo’s practical, analytical nature – could coexist in one person (me!).
Putting it into Practice
- Journaling: I started journaling way more. Not just about my feelings, but also about my observations. Like, I’d notice myself getting super focused on tiny details in a project (hello, Virgo!), then suddenly wanting to scrap the whole thing and do something completely different (classic Aquarius!). Writing it down helped me see the patterns.
- Observing My Behavior:I paid attention to my actions and thoughts. I am a person who want innovation(Aquarius), and I find I am a perfectionist sometimes(Virgo).
- Meditation (Attempted): Okay, this one is still a work in progress. Virgo is supposed to be all about routine and mindfulness, and Aquarius… not so much. But I’m trying! Even a few minutes of quiet time helps me, you know, process all the thoughts swirling around in my head.
The “Aha!” Moment (Sort Of)
I wouldn’t say I’ve had one big “aha!” moment where it all clicked into place. It’s more like a gradual understanding. I’m starting to see how my Aquarius Sun fuels my desire for change and innovation, while my Virgo Rising gives me the ability to actually analyze and plan things out. It’s like… I have these big, wild ideas, but I also have this inner critic/editor that helps me refine them and make them, you know, real.
Still Learning…
Honestly, I’m still figuring it all out. It’s a process, right? But it’s been fascinating to see how these different aspects of my personality play out. It’s like having a built-in system of checks and balances. The Aquarius in me wants to break free, and the Virgo in me is like, “Okay, but let’s make a spreadsheet first.” And somehow, it… works? Or, at least, it’s starting to.
