Okay, so I’ve been seeing the number 1716 everywhere lately. Like, on license plates, receipts, clocks – you name it. It got to the point where I was like, “Alright, universe, I see you. What’s up with 1716?” So, I decided to do a little digging and, well, experiment a bit.
My 1716 Experiment
First, I looked up what 1716 might mean as an angel number. Turns out, there’s a whole world of numerology out there! I skimmed a few websites, and the general vibe I got was that 1716 is about manifesting your desires, staying positive, and trusting that things are working out for your highest good. It’s also supposedly connected to financial abundance and taking practical steps towards your goals.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m a bit of a skeptic, but I’m also open-minded. I figured, why not put this to the test? So, here’s what I did:
- Set an Intention: I decided to focus on a specific financial goal. Nothing crazy, just something I’d been wanting to save up for.
- Visualize: Every morning and night, I spent a few minutes visualizing myself achieving that goal. I imagined how it would feel, what I would do with it, etc.
- Stay Positive: This was probably the hardest part! I tried to catch myself whenever I had negative thoughts about money or my ability to reach my goal. I replaced those thoughts with positive affirmations.

I unexpectedly got a small bonus at work. It wasn’t a huge amount, but it was definitely a step in the right direction!

So, did seeing 1716 magically make me rich? No. But, did it motivate me to focus on my goals, stay positive, and take action? Absolutely!
I think the real power of angel numbers, or any kind of synchronicity, is that they can serve as reminders to pay attention to our thoughts and actions. They can encourage us to be more mindful and intentional in our lives. Whether or not you believe in the mystical aspects, there’s definitely something to be said for setting goals, staying positive, and taking consistent action. I finished my test. I think it works!
