Okay, so, I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, trying to figure myself out, you know? And I stumbled upon this whole “sun sign, rising sign” thing. Turns out, I’m a Taurus sun with a Scorpio ascendant. Sounds intense, right?
So, first, I had to, like, actually find out what my rising sign even was. I’d known I was a Taurus forever – stubborn, loves good food, enjoys the finer things…yep, that’s me. But the ascendant? No clue.
I used one of those online calculators. You just punch in your birth date, time, and place, and boom – it spits out your whole chart. Finding my birth time was a whole ordeal, though. I had to text my mom. Of course, she didn’t know off the top of her head, so she had to dig out my baby book. Classic mom move.
The Revelation
Turns out, I was born at, like, the exact moment Scorpio was rising. Which, apparently, makes a big difference. So, now I’m this Taurus, grounded and chill, but with this Scorpio intensity simmering underneath. It’s…a lot.
Then I started reading. And reading. And reading. Everything I could find about Taurus sun, Scorpio rising. Some of it was kinda freaky accurate.
- It talked about this internal conflict. Like, the Taurus part of me just wants to relax and enjoy life, but the Scorpio part is all intense and passionate and, well, a little dramatic.
- It mentioned a strong intuition. Which, honestly, I’ve always kind of had. I just didn’t realize it was an astrology thing.
- Appearences, I am a chill person, which is the Taurus part of me, some people even think I am pretty cold blood. That is true, I admit.
Honestly, digging into this whole Taurus sun, Scorpio rising thing has been kind of eye-opening. It’s like I’m finally understanding some of the contradictions in my own personality. It’s not that I’m two different people, it’s just…layers, I guess. It’s all me, just different facets shining through at different times.
Next thing I want to look into is the moon sign, the last missing part of the big three. I’ll figure it out soon.
