Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, like, really deep. And I wanted to figure out how my sun, moon, and rising signs all work together. I’m a Libra sun, Taurus moon, and Sagittarius rising, so let’s see what happened when i tried to apply some simple self-discovery.
The Starting Point: My Basic Traits
First, I gathered some info on each sign.
- Libra Sun: All about balance, harmony, and relationships. We’re supposed to be charming, diplomatic, and maybe a little indecisive. Yeah, that sounds familiar.
- Taurus Moon: This is the emotional side. Taurus moons crave comfort, stability, and good food. We’re supposedly stubborn and appreciate the finer things. Guilty as charged.
- Sagittarius Rising: This is how you appear to others. Sag risings are adventurous, optimistic, and always looking for the next big thing. They can be a bit blunt, though. I can relate.
The Experiment: A Day of Conscious Choices
I decided to spend a whole day trying to actively embody these traits, to see how they felt and if I could find a good balance. Kind of like a weird astrological role-playing game.
I started the day with a Libra-ish approach: I made a conscious effort to be extra agreeable. My girlfriend wanted to watch a documentary I wasn’t thrilled about? Sure, let’s do it! My neighbor needed help carrying groceries? Absolutely, no problem! It felt…okay. A little exhausting, to be honest.
Then, I tapped into my Taurus moon. I cooked myself a ridiculously indulgent breakfast – pancakes with all the toppings. I spent an hour just relaxing on the couch with a cup of coffee, enjoying the feeling of the soft blanket. This was much better. This, I liked.
In the afternoon, my Sagittarius rising kicked in. I felt this urge to do something. So, I went for a long hike in a nearby park. I didn’t have a plan, I just wanted to explore. I even struck up a conversation with a stranger about some weird-looking mushrooms (don’t worry, I didn’t eat them!).
The Results: Harmony (and Some Tension)
By the end of the day, I felt a bit of the my inner peace. I think the key is finding a way to let all these different parts of myself have their moment.
The Libra in me wants everyone to be happy, but the Taurus moon reminds me that I need to take care of myself, too. And the Sagittarius rising keeps things interesting, pushing me out of my comfort zone. It’s a constant balancing act, for sure. I wouldn’t say I’ve mastered it, but it was a fun experiment, and I definitely learned something about myself. I’ll keep trying. Maybe tomorrow I’ll try a different combination of activities. Stay turned!
