Okay, so today I’m diving into something a little different – astrology! Specifically, my Capricorn Sun and Gemini Rising. I’ve always been a bit skeptical, but I’ve heard so many people talking about how accurate it can be, so I decided to do a test and see.
First, I looked up my birth chart. I needed my exact birth time, which, thankfully, my mom remembered. Plugged that into a birth chart calculator I found, and boom, there it was: Capricorn Sun, Gemini Rising, and a whole bunch of other stuff I didn’t really understand yet.
Breaking Down the Capricorn Sun
From what I read, Capricorn Suns are supposed to be all about hard work, discipline, and being responsible. Super ambitious, always striving for the top. And I had to test those.
- I started by really pushing myself at work. Took on extra projects, stayed late, really tried to go above and beyond.
- I also focused on some personal goals I’d been putting off. Like, finally organizing my closet, and starting to go jogging.
The Gemini Rising Experiment
Now, Gemini Rising is supposedly about being adaptable, communicative, and curious. It’s how you present yourself to the world, your first impression kind of vibe.
So, I tried to be extra aware of how I was interacting with people.
- I made a conscious effort to strike up conversations with strangers, like the cashier at the grocery store, or the person waiting for the bus next to me.
- At work meetings, I tried to be more vocal, sharing my ideas, even when I felt a little nervous.
- I even joined a public speaking practice group to practice talking.
Honestly, after a couple of weeks, I noticed some things. Leaning into the Capricorn traits, I definitely felt more productive. I got a lot more done at work, and I felt good about tackling those personal to-dos I’d been * result is perfect!
The Gemini Rising part was a little harder to nail down, I did feel a little more outgoing. I definitely had more conversations with people, and some of them were really interesting! Overall, it was a fun experiment. It’s made me think a little more about how I approach things, and maybe even understand myself a little better.
