Today, I tried to do something I haven’t done before – reading tarot cards, specifically focusing on Leo, which is my sign. I’ve always been a bit skeptical about these things, but also kind of curious. So, I thought, why not give it a go and see what happens?

I started by doing some basic research online. I found out that the Strength card is often linked to Leo. It’s the eighth card in the Major Arcana, whatever that means. Apparently, it’s got a picture of a woman and a lion on it, which I guess makes sense since Leo is the lion sign. I read that this card is all about courage, determination, and patience—qualities that people say Leos have.
I got myself a deck of tarot cards. It felt a bit weird holding them, not going to lie. I mean, it’s just cards, right? But they did have a certain weight to them, both literally and figuratively. I shuffled them while thinking about my life and what I wanted to know. Then I picked out the Strength card.
Looking at the card, I could see why it’s associated with Leo. The lion looked so powerful, but the woman seemed calm and in control. I guess it’s about having inner strength, not just physical strength. That’s something I try to work on, being strong on the inside, even when things get tough.
I also tried to learn a little more about the Major Arcana. It’s the first 22 cards of the deck, which symbolize the journey of life. According to some sources, the story begins with a complete innocence and develops into a mature and wise character.
I did a simple reading for myself, focusing on what I need to know about my career. I’m at a point where I’m thinking about making some changes, so I was hoping for some guidance. Besides the Strength card, I pulled a few others. I won’t go into all the details, but the overall message seemed to be about trusting my instincts and not being afraid to take risks. It was like the cards were telling me to be brave, like a lion, but also to be patient and not rush into things.
My Thoughts
Honestly, the whole experience was more interesting than I expected. It wasn’t like some magic trick or anything, but it did make me think about my life and my choices in a different way. I found that these cards did resonate with my sign, Leo. Also, I guess the tarot cards are not about predicting the future, but more about self-reflection and understanding myself better.
- Did it change my life? No.
- Was it fun? Yeah, it kind of was.
- Will I do it again? Maybe.
It’s like having a conversation with yourself, but the cards help you ask the right questions. Anyway, that’s my little adventure with tarot cards and Leo. It’s not something I’d normally do, but hey, sometimes it’s good to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.
