Alright, so the other day, I got this itch to figure out those 12 houses in astrology everyone’s always talking about. You know, the ones that are supposed to tell you stuff about your life and who you are? Yeah, those. And who rules them, which planet is pulling the strings, that kind of thing.
First off, I had to get my head around what each house even means. I started digging around, trying to make sense of it all. From what I gathered, it’s like this big pie chart of your life, cut into 12 slices. Each slice, or “house,” is a different part of your life. Like, the first one is all about you, the “self”, and then the second one is about your money and things, and it goes on from there. The third one is about how you talk and your brothers and sisters.
Then came the tricky part – figuring out which planet rules which house. Now, I knew there are 9 planets, but only 7 actually rule these houses. I learned that the Sun only rules one house, Leo, and the Moon rules Cancer. Just one each! The other planets – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn – they get two houses each. Double the fun, I guess!

Here’s where it got a bit wild. I started seeing names like Venus, Mars, and Mercury pop up a lot. Each planet rules two houses. For example, let’s say Venus is in charge of your money house. Does that mean you’re gonna be rich? Or maybe you just really like buying stuff? I’m still trying to figure that part out.

The thing is, I still need to figure out the lords for most of the houses. I’ve got the Moon ruling the 4th and the Sun ruling the 5th, but the rest? Still a mystery. And I need to find out which sign each house is tied to, too. It’s like this big puzzle I’m trying to put together piece by piece. There are so many little details, and it’s easy to get lost, to be honest.
But I kept at it, I’m determined to crack this astrology code. It’s a slow process, but I feel like I’m making progress. One day, I’ll have this whole 12-house thing figured out, and then maybe I can finally understand why I’m so bad at saving money, or why I can’t stop talking. It’s all in the stars, right?
