Okay, so yesterday I tried out this whole “yes/no tarot” thing, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. I’ve always been a bit curious about tarot, but never really dived in, you know? So, I figured, why not start with something simple?

First, I grabbed a deck I had lying around. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a basic one I picked up a while back. I shuffled the cards a few times, trying to get a feel for them. Then, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on my question. I wanted to keep it straightforward, so I asked, “Will I get that new project at work?”
With my question firmly in mind, I started drawing cards. I decided to pull three cards. I placed them face down in front of me, feeling a little nervous, not gonna lie. Then, one by one, I flipped them over.
- The first card was upright. From what I remembered, that means a “yes.” Cool, cool.
- The second card, though, was reversed. I googled it quickly, that meant “no.” Okay, mixed signals here.
- The third card… also reversed. Another “no.”
So, I ended up with one “yes” and two “nos.” I sat there for a minute, processing it all. Honestly, I was a bit bummed. I really wanted that project. But then I thought, maybe this is a sign to re-evaluate my approach, or maybe there’s something even better coming up.
After sitting with it for a while, I decided to do another reading, this time asking, “What can I do to improve my chances?” I drew three more cards and tried to interpret them based on their general meanings. It was trickier this time since it wasn’t a simple yes/no question.
I got the impression that I needed to focus more on collaboration and maybe be more assertive in meetings. It made sense, considering the project involves a lot of teamwork. I jotted down some notes in my journal, planning to reflect on them more later. I decided to keep practicing it to see if the answers will get more accurate.
Overall, it was a really interesting experience. It got me thinking about my question from different angles and gave me some things to ponder. I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with tarot. Who knows what else I might discover?
