Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little experiments. This time, I got into something called a “Virgo New Moon Tarot Spread.” Sounds kinda fancy, right? Well, it’s basically just a way to use Tarot cards during the new moon phase to help figure out what you want and how to get it. I heard about it online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” So here’s how it all went down.

First off, I had to wait for the new moon in Virgo, which happened to be on September 2nd this year. I marked it on my calendar ’cause I didn’t want to miss it. When the day finally came, I got myself ready. I’m no expert, but I grabbed my Tarot deck – yeah, I have one, don’t judge – and found a quiet spot in my apartment.
Next, I did some quick research online about this “Virgo New Moon” thing. Apparently, it’s a good time to focus on self-improvement and setting practical goals. One article even mentioned that “the devil is in the details,” which I thought was pretty interesting. It’s not about starting new stuff, but more about figuring out what to do with what you’ve already got going on.
So, I cleared my mind, lit a candle to set the mood (I know, a bit extra, but it helps me focus), and shuffled my Tarot deck. I’m not gonna lie; I was feeling a bit nervous, but also excited. I laid out the cards in the spread I found online. I think it was a simple three-card spread. One was about where I’m at now, another was about what I want to achieve, and the last one was about how to get there.
- The first card was something that made sense to my current situation, it said I should calm down and focus more on what’s inside of me.
- The second card, the one about my goals, that one really hit me. It basically said I should keep working on my blog and maybe start on the video content I’ve been thinking about. That felt right.
- The third card, the “how-to” card, gave me some practical advice. It suggested breaking down my big goals into smaller, more manageable steps. And to not be afraid to ask for help when I need it.
After pulling the cards, I spent some time just looking at them, thinking about what they meant to me. I even jotted down some notes in my journal, ’cause I didn’t want to forget anything. I gotta say, the whole experience was pretty enlightening. It wasn’t like some magic spell or anything, but it definitely helped me clarify my thoughts and intentions for the next few weeks.
I ended the session by thanking the universe, or whatever’s out there, for the guidance. Then, I put away my cards, blew out the candle, and went back to my regular day. But I felt different, you know? More focused, more grounded.
So, that’s my Virgo New Moon Tarot Spread story. It might sound a bit woo-woo to some of you, but it was a cool experience for me. I think I’ll try it again next new moon. Maybe I’ll even get better at reading the cards. Who knows? Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this little peek into my life. Catch you in the next post!
