Okay, so I’ve been thinking a lot about love lately. Like, who doesn’t, right? I figured I’d try something new and see if a tarot reading could shed some light on my, uh, romantic situation. Or lack thereof. Anyway, I booked a session with this tarot reader a friend recommended, and I gotta say, it was pretty interesting. I wasn’t sure what to do and I didn’t know the questions, so I did some research on the internet before I went, I wanted to make sure I got the most out of it.

First off, I spent a good chunk of time just thinking about what I really wanted to know. I jotted down a bunch of questions, like, a real brainstorm. I had a notebook full of them, like a big book. You know, stuff like, “What can I do to attract more love into my life?” and “What qualities should I look for in a partner?” Pretty standard, I guess. But I also threw in some more personal ones like, “What is causing tension in my current relationship?”(I am currently in a relationship). I tried to keep them open-ended, not just yes/no stuff.
When I finally sat down with the tarot reader, I felt a little nervous, not gonna lie. But she was super chill and made me feel comfortable right away. We talked a bit about my intentions for the reading, and then I started firing away with my questions, she started her work with her cards. I made sure to listen carefully to what she was saying and how she interpreted the cards. Sometimes I’d ask for clarification or follow-up questions, just to make sure I understood everything. I also wrote down all the cards she picked and her answers in my notebook.
Here are some of the questions I asked, and I bolded the ones that really resonated with me:
- What can I do to improve my current relationship?
- How can I attract more love into my life?
- What qualities should I look for in a partner?
- How can I become more open to love?
- What is causing tension in my current relationship?
- How can I find “the one”?
- What can I do to attract my ultimate life?
One thing that surprised me was how some of the cards that came up, like the Two of Cups and the Lovers card, seemed to directly address my relationship concerns. It was like, whoa, this is actually relevant! I did not know the meaning of these cards. The tarot reader explained them to me.
My Thoughts
Honestly, the whole experience was way more insightful than I expected. It wasn’t just about predicting the future or anything like that. It was more about reflecting on myself and my relationships. The tarot reader gave me a lot to think about, and I feel like I have a better understanding of what I need to work on and what I should be looking for. I kept thinking about the reading these days, I feel like I got some useful information. I might even do it again sometime, just to see what else comes up. It’s definitely an interesting way to explore your love life, I gotta say.
