So, I’ve been trying to figure out this whole “when will I get pregnant” thing using astrology, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I started by looking into my menstrual cycle and how it lines up with the houses, and I found some interesting stuff.

First, I checked where my cycle falls in the houses. I learned that conception can happen around the 11th day. But this is different for everyone, so I’m not sure.
Then, I started looking into the rulers and lords of my chart. I read that if the ruler is male, you count to male, and if the 5th lord in a female horoscope is in a male sign, it might mean a boy. I tried to find these in my chart, and well, it got a bit confusing. I think I figured out mine, but I’m not 100% sure. I marked down what I thought were the male and female signs, but it’s all still a bit fuzzy.
- Tracked my cycle: I marked down the days and tried to see when ovulation might be happening. They say it’s usually around days 10 to 14, so I paid extra attention to those days. I used a calendar and just jotted down my cycle days to get a better picture.
- Looked at my chart: This was the tricky part. I tried to find the rulers and the 5th lord in my chart. It took some time, and I had to read a lot of articles to even understand what I was looking for. I used an online chart calculator and tried to match up what I found with what the articles said.
- Tried to determine the gender: Based on what I found, I tried to see if it pointed to a male or female child. It was interesting to see what the possibilities were, but again, not very clear. I wrote down my guesses based on the signs, but it felt more like a fun game than anything concrete.
I also read about how planetary alignments and moon phases could play a role, but honestly, that part made my head spin. I tried to follow along, but it got too complicated, so I decided to stick with the basics for now. I figured the moon phases might be important, so I noted down the full moon and new moon dates, but I didn’t get much further than that.
Overall, it’s been a fun experiment, but I wouldn’t say I have any solid answers yet. It’s more like I have a bunch of clues that might or might not mean anything. I guess the best way to find out is to just wait and see.
Anyway, I thought I’d share my little adventure with you all. Maybe someone else has tried this and can share some tips? Or maybe we can all just laugh at how confusing astrology can be. Either way, it’s been an interesting ride!
Lessons Learned
- Astrology is complex, and there’s a lot to learn.
- Tracking my cycle is useful, even without the astrology part.
- It’s fun to explore, but don’t take it too seriously.
Next, I might try to learn more about those planetary alignments, but for now, I’m just going to see what happens naturally. Who knows, maybe the stars will align in my favor!
