Today was quite an interesting day. I decided to give this “juno conjunct sun” thing a try. I’ve heard a bit about it, and, well, why not? So, I got up this morning, feeling pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

First off, I had to figure out what this whole thing even meant. From what I gathered, it’s about aligning with my commitments and shining a light on them. Sounds deep, right? I’m not usually one for this kind of stuff, but I’m always up for a new experience.
I started by just sitting down and thinking about the things I’m committed to in my life right now. My job, my family, my little side project of fixing up that old bicycle… they all came to mind. I wrote them down on a piece of paper, just to get them out of my head and make them feel a bit more real, you know?
My Commitments
- Be a good partner and family member.
- Do my best at work, even when it’s tough.
- Finish that darn bike project!
- Maybe start writing more often. I used to love it.
Then, I spent some time reflecting on each one. How was I doing? Was I really putting in the effort? For the bike project, I realized I had been slacking. So, I decided to head out to the garage and actually work on it for a couple of hours. It felt good to get my hands dirty and make some progress.
Later in the day, I had a bit of a tough conversation with my partner. We had been kind of distant lately. This whole “juno conjunct sun” thing had me thinking about my commitment to our relationship. So, I just opened up and shared how I was feeling. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely needed.
We talked for a while, and it actually felt like we connected on a deeper level than we had in ages. It was like a weight had been lifted. Maybe there’s something to this alignment stuff after all.
By the end of the day, I felt a sense of clarity and purpose I haven’t felt in a long time. It’s not like all my problems magically disappeared, but I feel more focused on what’s truly important to me. I even did a little writing, which was fun. I might try this “juno conjunct sun” exercise again sometime. It was a good reminder to check in with myself and make sure I’m living in a way that aligns with my values.
