Okay, so today I’m diving into something a little different – my astrological big three: Aries Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Capricorn Rising. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, to say the least!
It all started with a random late-night internet rabbit hole. You know how it goes – one minute you’re looking up cat videos, the next you’re knee-deep in astrology charts. I stumbled upon this concept of the “big three” and realized I only knew my Sun sign (Aries, duh!).
Figuring Out My Moon and Rising
- Moon Sign: This one was pretty easy. I found a bunch of free online calculators, plugged in my birth date and time, and boom – Scorpio Moon. It kinda resonated immediately. I’ve always had these intense, hidden emotions, a deep well of feelings that most people don’t see.
- Rising Sign: This was trickier. It required my exact birth time, down to the minute. Luckily, I had that info on my birth certificate. After some more online digging and calculator-punching, Capricorn Rising popped up.
Putting the My Big Three Together
At the first beginning, I read something about my big three, Aries Sun, Scorpio Moon, and Capricorn Rising. It really confused me. I still remembered what I read, “you have a strong and impulsive personality, are full of passion and energy, demand absolute loyalty, do not accept any betrayal and hurt, appear calm, rational, and thoughtful.” I just thought, “What? How to put them together!”
This is where things got interesting. I started researching what each of these placements meant individually, and then how they interacted.
The Aries Sun is all fire and go-getter energy. That’s the “me” most people see – the impulsive, energetic, and sometimes impatient * Scorpio Moon is this whole other layer. It’s where I process my deepest emotions, my intuition, my need for intense connection and, yeah, my occasional jealousy and possessiveness. The Capricorn Rising… that’s the mask I wear to the world. It’s the responsible, disciplined, ambitious side of me. It’s how I come across to people initially – reserved, maybe even a little cold.
The “Aha!” Moment
The real breakthrough came when I stopped seeing these three signs as separate entities and started thinking of them as a team. My Aries Sun pushes me to take action, my Scorpio Moon fuels that action with deep passion and intuition, and my Capricorn Rising keeps me grounded and focused on the long game.
It’s like I’m a fiery, passionate person (Aries Sun and Scorpio Moon) who’s learned to channel that energy into a more structured, disciplined approach (Capricorn Rising). I can still be impulsive, but I’m also more calculated. I can still be intensely emotional, but I’m better at managing those emotions and using them to my advantage.
It’s still a work in progress, of course. I’m constantly learning and adjusting. But understanding my big three has been incredibly helpful in understanding myself, my motivations, and how I interact with the world. It’s like I found a missing piece of the puzzle, and things are finally starting to click into place.
