Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, trying to figure out my whole cosmic blueprint thing. I knew I was a Capricorn sun, which always made sense – I’m pretty ambitious, disciplined, you know, the whole “get stuff done” vibe. But then I found out I’m an Aries rising, and it kinda blew my mind.
At first, it felt like a total contradiction. Capricorn is all earth energy, practical and cautious. Aries is fire, impulsive and bold. How could I be both?
So I started digging. I read every article I could find, watched a bunch of YouTube videos, even stalked some astrology forums (don’t judge!). I was looking for clues, trying to piece together this puzzle of me.
The Practical Capricorn Side
My Capricorn sun is definitely the foundation. It’s how I approach most things in life.
- Planning: I’m a huge planner. I love lists, spreadsheets, and having a clear roadmap for everything. Spontaneity? Not really my thing.
- Work Ethic: I’m super driven. I set goals, and I work my butt off until I achieve them. It’s just how I’m wired.
- Responsibility: I take my commitments seriously. If I say I’m going to do something, I do it. No flaking allowed.
- Long-Term Focus I set my long-term goals, such as 5 years, 10 years and even 20 years, and then figure out every little step in daily life.
The Fiery Aries Rising
The Aries rising is like the spark that ignites the Capricorn engine. It’s my first impression, how I come across to people before they really get to know me.
- Initial Impression: Apparently, I come off as energetic, confident, maybe even a little intimidating. This was news to me! I always thought I was pretty reserved.
- Direct Communication: I’m learning that I can be pretty blunt. I say what’s on my mind, which can be good and bad. Honesty is important, but maybe I need to work on my delivery sometimes.
- Impatient Streak: Okay, this one is definitely true. I get frustrated when things move too slowly. I want results, and I want them now!
- Taking Action: This part of me is a good influence. When I am afraid of taking any action, I will feel a small voice that yells to me.
Putting it Together
It took some time, but I’m finally starting to see how these two energies work together in my life. It is like two sides, but actually it is still the same side of me.
The Capricorn in me plans and strategizes, while the Aries gives me the courage and drive to take action. The Capricorn keeps me grounded, while the Aries helps me push boundaries. For example, I had a goal that sounds crazy in other people’s eyes, and I took years of consistant hard-work to get it done. I know this is because I am a Capricorn Sun Aries Rising!
It’s not always a smooth ride. Sometimes I get frustrated with my own internal conflict. I want to leap, but I also want to look (very, very carefully) before I leap. But I’m learning to embrace both sides of myself. It’s a work in progress, but hey, that’s life, right?
