Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole sun and moon thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started by just staring at the sky a lot, you know, watching the sun blaze through the day and the moon glow at night. It’s pretty basic stuff, but it got me thinking about how these two have been a big deal for like, forever.

So I started digging into it. I hit up a bunch of different sources, just trying to see what the deal was with the sun and the moon in different cultures. Turns out, they’re way more than just balls of light and rock. I mean, people have been using them to symbolize all kinds of stuff.
My Research Journey
- Reading: I read a whole bunch of stuff online, and it was kind of a mixed bag. Some of it was super out there, talking about energies and vibes. I’m not really into that, but I guess it’s a thing.
- Watching: I also watched some videos about how the sun and moon are seen in astrology. Apparently, the sun is all about who you are on the outside, your identity, and that kind of thing. The moon is more about your inner self, your feelings, and intuition.
- Thinking: Most of my time was spent just thinking, honestly. Trying to connect the dots between what I was reading and what I was seeing in the sky.
I started to make some connections. Like, the sun is this big, powerful thing that gives us light and warmth. It makes sense that people would see it as a symbol of strength and vitality. And the moon, it’s more subtle, more mysterious. It’s always changing, and it’s kind of tied to the night, which is when people tend to be more reflective. So it makes sense that it would be connected to introspection and intuition.
I started to play around with these ideas in my own life. I tried to be more aware of the sun and the moon, not just as things in the sky, but as symbols. When I was feeling down, I’d go outside and just soak up some sun. And when I was feeling confused, I’d spend some time under the moon, just thinking things through. I still don’t know if the sun and moon really have any power, but I do think they can be useful tools for self-reflection.
It’s still a work in progress, this whole sun and moon thing. I’m still figuring it out. But it’s been a fun journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it takes me. Maybe I’ll try to incorporate them into my art, or my writing, or something. Who knows? The possibilities are as endless as the sky itself.
