Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole astrology thing, and I decided to focus on my own chart. I’m a Sun in Virgo, Moon in Aries, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey trying to understand how these two energies play out in my life.

I started by, you know, just Googling around. I found some stuff that talked about how Aries is all fire and action, while Virgo is super detail-oriented and practical. It kinda clicked – I recognized both of those things in myself, but they often feel like they’re at war!
So, my first step was to really observe myself. I grabbed a notebook and just started jotting down moments when I felt that Aries impulsiveness kick in. Like, there was this time I decided on a whim to completely rearrange my entire living room at 11 PM. Pure Aries, right? I just had to do it right then.

Then, I started tracking the Virgo side. This was a little trickier, because it’s more subtle. But I noticed it in the way I approach projects. I can’t just jump in; I have to make lists, research everything, and plan out every single step. My friends joke that I can overthink a grocery list, and honestly, they’re not wrong.

Making a big plan before action.
The real work came in seeing how these two played together. For instance, I noticed I’d get a burst of Aries energy – a big, exciting idea – and I’d want to dive in headfirst. But then, my Virgo Moon would step in and say, “Hold on, let’s break this down. What are the steps? What could go wrong?”
It has been like dancing that I get a big, exciting idea and then break it down.
It’s a constant negotiation. Sometimes, the Aries wins, and I end up doing something totally spontaneous. Other times, the Virgo takes over, and I spend hours researching and planning.
The key, I’m realizing, is to find a balance. To use the Aries energy to push me forward, but to also let the Virgo Moon ground me and keep me from making totally reckless decisions.
It’s still a work in progress, obviously. I’m not claiming to have it all figured out. But just being aware of these two sides of myself has been incredibly helpful. It’s like I’ve been given a little instruction manual for my own brain, and I’m slowly learning how to read it.
