Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole astrology thing lately, and I wanted to explore my own chart a bit more. I’m a Cancer sun, which I already knew, but I recently found out I’m a Virgo rising. I decided to put it all together and this is what happened, the whole shebang.

Figuring Out My Rising Sign
First things first, I had to actually figure out my rising sign. I already use some of the astrology apps to view birth chart sometimes. So I input my birth time that I looked up. Gotta have that accurate birth time, or it’s all messed up!
- Checked birth certificate for the exact time. My mom kept everything, bless her.
- Opened birth chart app.
- Entered my birth date, time, and location.
Boom! Virgo rising. I always thought I have some virgo traits, and turn out to be true!
What It Means
After getting the rising sign, I wanted to look deep into what it means to find out the rising traits.
So, Cancer sun, Virgo rising… what does that even mean? I started Googling, of course.
I found out that Cancer is all about emotions, home, family, being nurturing, that kind of stuff. I totally get that. I’m a homebody, I love my family, I cry at commercials… it checks out.
Then there’s the Virgo rising. Apparently, that means I come across as organized, practical, detail-oriented, maybe even a little critical. People who first meet me might think I’m reserved or analytical, because that’s the “mask” I wear to the world. But I’m more outgoing than I look.
Putting It All Together
It started to make sense. I am emotional and sensitive like a Cancer, but I also have this strong urge to organize everything, plan things out, and analyze situations. It’s like my inner world is this watery, emotional Cancer place, but the way I interact with the world is filtered through this Virgo lens.
- I started thinking about how I act in different situations, talked to my family and friends.
- Thought about how I present myself to strangers.
The Experiment
I wanted to do a little “experiment” in my social life.
I focused on observing myself. Like, really paying attention to how I reacted to things, how I communicated, and how people seemed to perceive me. I even jotted down some notes in my phone throughout the week. Sounds kind of nerdy, I know, but it was actually pretty interesting!
Observations and Conclusion
I started to notice the Virgo rising in how I plan my days meticulously. I make lists for everything! But then the Cancer sun peeks through when I get super emotional about something seemingly small, like a friend canceling plans.I can see it more and more clear, like I have this Virgo processor and Cancer data input.
So, the whole Cancer sun, Virgo rising combo? It’s definitely me. It’s this blend of emotional depth and practical, analytical thinking. It’s not always easy to balance those two sides, but hey, that’s what makes life interesting, right?
