Okay, so today I decided to dive into this whole astrology thing, specifically looking at my Leo ascendant and Pisces sun. I’ve always been a bit curious about how these placements interact, you know?

First, I gathered all my birth info – date, time, and place. I needed that to get an accurate chart. I used to think, you know, that time didn’t really matter that much, but boy was I wrong.
Getting Started
Then I went online and found a free birth chart calculator. There are tons of them out there, but you can use anything really. I just picked one that looked simple enough. Plugged in all my details, hit “calculate,” and bam! There was my chart, looking all mysterious and complicated with its symbols and lines.
Deep Dive
- I started by focusing on my ascendant, which is Leo. I already knew a little about Leo, that they’re all about being confident and outgoing, theatric, maybe the center of atention, the life of the party. The site I was on gave a pretty good breakdown of what it means to have a Leo rising.
- Next, I checked out my Sun sign, which is Pisces. That one I’m a bit more familiar with – dreamy, sensitive, artistic. It’s kind of a contrast to the Leo energy, right?
- The tricky part was figuring out how these two placements, the sun and ascendant work together in my life. From my chart, the description basically said it’s like having this bold, expressive outer layer (Leo) with a more introspective, emotional core (Pisces).
Putting it Together
I spent a good chunk of time just reading through the descriptions and thinking about how they apply to me. It’s kinda wild how much of it actually resonated. Like, I do love being the center of attention sometimes, but I also have this deep, sensitive side that I don’t always show.
I’m still processing it all, to be honest. It’s a lot of information. But I feel like I have a better understanding of myself, you know? Like, these astrological placements are just one way of looking at things, but it’s a fun and interesting way to explore your personality.
So yeah, that was my astrology deep dive for the day. Definitely going to keep exploring this stuff. Maybe next time I’ll look into my Moon sign, I think that is important too!
