Okay, so I got into tarot cards lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! Today, I decided to really focus on the Justice card, and I documented the whole process, so I figure I am gonna share with you guys.
My Tarot Deep Dive: Justice Edition
First, I grabbed my favorite deck. It’s nothing fancy, just a standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up online, but the artwork is something I really get along with.
I made sure I was in a good headspace. Lit a candle, put on some chill music – you know, set the mood. Then, I shuffled the deck, really focusing on the idea of “justice” and what it means.
I laid out the cards in a simple three-card spread: Past, Present, Future. And boom, there it was – the Justice card staring right at me, smack-dab in the “Present” position.
I took a good, long look at the card. You know the one: a stern-looking figure sitting on a throne, holding a sword and scales. The sword is all about clear, decisive action, and the scales represent balance and fairness.
- Past: I thought back to some recent situations where I felt like I was treated unfairly, or maybe where I didn’t act as fairly as I could have. It got me thinking about how those situations shaped my current understanding of justice.
- Present (Justice): This was the big one. I spent a good amount of time journaling about what “justice” means to me right now. Am I being fair to myself? Am I being fair to others? Are there any situations in my life that feel out of balance?
- Future: This part was a bit more intuitive. I tried to imagine how my current understanding of justice might guide my future actions. What decisions might I make differently? What outcomes might I expect?
I jotted down some key phrases that came to mind: “balance,” “truth,” “accountability,” “consequences.” I even looked up some online resources to see other interpretations, but I mostly stuck to my own gut feelings. That’s the best way to go about it, according to my research.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty eye-opening. It wasn’t just about reading the card; it was about reflecting on my own life and how I interact with the world. I feel like I have a better understanding of what “justice” means to me, and how I can strive to embody those principles in my daily life.
I am planning on repeating that stuff with all the cards. Next up, I will probably try to tackle the “Hanged Man” card, because that’s always been a confusing one for me. Stay tuned!
