Okay, so today I decided to mess around with tarot cards, specifically the 8 of Wands. I’ve been feeling a bit stuck lately, like things are moving too slow, so I figured, why not? Maybe the cards can give me a little nudge.
My Little Tarot Experiment
First, I grabbed my deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck, nothing fancy. I shuffled the cards a few times, just kind of focusing on what I wanted some clarity on – basically, how to get things moving in my life.
Then, I laid out a simple three-card spread. You know, past, present, future. I’m no expert, so I keep it basic. And guess what? The 8 of Wands popped up in the ‘present’ position. Seriously!
I remembered reading somewhere that the 8 of Wands is all about speed, action, and things happening quickly. It’s like, a bunch of energy coming your way. Some people even say it means travel or quick decisions.
What It All Means (I Think)
So, I sat there for a bit, just staring at the card. It’s got these eight wands flying through the air, right? They look like they’re on a mission. And the background is all clear skies, no obstacles.
It shows my current situation. With the card sit on ‘present’, my situation show that I am in the fast-pased stage.
To be honest, it felt pretty spot-on. Like, maybe I’ve been waiting for things to happen instead of making them happen. The 8 of Wands is kind of a wake-up call, I guess. A reminder to be proactive.
I spent the rest of the day actually doing things. I made some calls I’d been putting off, finished a project I’d been dragging my feet on, and even planned a short trip for next * felt good to take some, and the tarot make me have a clear direction.
