Okay, so let’s talk about this whole Leo Sun, Scorpio Rising, Taurus Moon thing. I decided to dive into this because I kept seeing it pop up, and I figured, why not? I’ve got some spare time, and I’m always up for a little self-discovery, even if it’s a bit woo-woo.
First, I had to figure out what each of these things even meant. I mean, I know my Sun sign is Leo – that’s just basic birthday stuff. But the Moon and Rising signs? That was new territory. So, I did what any normal person does when they want answers, I just search for the right websites.
I found a bunch of stuff and start to reading those things. There’s like a million websites dedicated to astrology, and they all have these calculators where you put in your birth date, time, and place. Apparently, the exact time and place you were born make a difference. Who knew?
So, I dug up my birth certificate – thanks, Mom, for keeping all that stuff – and plugged in all the info. Turns out, my Moon is in Taurus, and my Rising sign is Scorpio. My first reaction was like “What the heck, how can my moon not in Leo?”
Then, I started reading about what these combinations supposedly mean. The Leo Sun is all about being confident, wanting attention – basically, being the star of the show. Which, okay, I can see that. I do like being in the spotlight, and I’m not afraid to speak my mind. I feel pretty good with these combinations, it’s cool.
But then there’s the Scorpio Rising. That’s supposed to be all mysterious and intense. People with Scorpio Rising are supposed to be really driven and have this calm, cool exterior. Honestly, I don’t always feel that intense, but I guess I can be pretty determined when I set my mind to something. And I do like to think I handle things with a bit of grace, even when I’m secretly freaking out inside. It’s hard to say, is it really me, or it just happened to be described like this?
And finally, the Taurus Moon. This one is about being grounded, seeking security, and enjoying the finer things in life. Okay, I definitely relate to the finer things part. I love good food, a cozy home, and all that. And yeah, I guess I do crave stability. Who doesn’t want to feel secure?
- Leo Sun: It’s like the core of who you are. Confident, creative, loves the spotlight. Yeah, that’s me in a nutshell. I’m always the loud one, always cracking jokes.
- Scorpio Rising: This is how you come across to others. Mysterious, intense, maybe a little intimidating. I’ve been told I have a “strong presence” – whatever that means.
- Taurus Moon: This is your emotional side. Grounded, loves comfort, craves security. I definitely need my creature comforts. Don’t mess with my routine!
Putting it all together, it’s kind of an interesting mix. Like, on the surface, I’m this bold, outgoing Leo. But underneath, there’s this more private, intense Scorpio vibe. And then, at my core, I just want to be comfortable and secure like a Taurus. I had a try to do those meditations and reflections things during the full moon night, it did make me feel better at that time.
I even tried to use those online tools to generate a full report, the report is kind of long, but not very helpful, maybe I should find a real human to do this for me next time.
Honestly, I don’t know how much I believe in all this astrology stuff. But it was a fun little experiment. It made me think about different aspects of my personality, and maybe I understand myself a little better now. Or maybe I’m just reading into things. Who knows? Either way, it was a good way to kill some time, I do enjoyed it.
What about you guys? Ever looked into your Moon and Rising signs? Did it resonate with you, or did you think it was a bunch of baloney?
