Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, trying to figure out compatibility and all that jazz. I’m a Leo sun, Virgo moon, which basically means I’m a big, fiery ball of energy on the outside (Leo), but internally, I’m all about details and organization (Virgo). It’s… a combination. So, I started this little experiment to see what signs I vibe with best.

Phase 1: The Research
First, I hit the books, or rather, the internet. I scoured astrology websites, forums, and even some old-school books I found at a used bookstore. I wanted to get a general sense of which signs are supposed to be compatible with Leo suns and Virgo moons.
- I learned that Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) are often a good match for Virgo moons because they appreciate that grounded, practical energy.
- For Leo suns, Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are the obvious choice, but Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) can also be a good fit because they bring that intellectual stimulation.
Phase 2: The Observation
Next, I decided to put this theory to the test. I started paying closer attention to the people in my life – friends, family, coworkers, even random people I met at the coffee shop. I tried to guess their signs (without being creepy, of course!) and then noted how I felt around them. Did I feel energized? Drained? Comfortable? Annoyed?
- I noticed I had a really easy time connecting with this one Taurus coworker. We just got each other, you know? We could talk for hours about work, life, everything.
- Then there was this Gemini friend who I loved hanging out with. They were so witty and fun, and we always had the best conversations.
- But then, I also realized I clashed with a few people who I later found out were Scorpios. Nothing major, but there was just this underlying tension that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.
Phase 3: The “Dating” Experiment
Okay, this is where it gets a little embarrassing. I decided to be more mindful of signs when I was on dating apps. I wouldn’t necessarily ask someone their sign right away (again, trying not to be creepy), but I’d definitely keep it in the back of my mind.
-
I went on a few dates with a Capricorn, and it was… fine. We had good conversation, but there wasn’t that spark, that zing, you know?
-
Then I met this Libra, and wow. We had so much in common, and the conversation flowed so easily. It felt really natural and comfortable.
Phase 4: My Conclusions (So Far)
So, after all this “research” and “experimentation,” what have I learned? Well, it’s definitely not an exact science. But I do think there’s something to this whole astrology thing.
For me, as a Leo sun, Virgo moon, I seem to vibe best with Earth signs (especially Taurus) and Air signs (especially Libra). They just seem to “get” both sides of my personality.
Of course, this is just my personal experience. Everyone is different, and there are so many other factors that go into compatibility. But it’s been a fun little journey, and I’ve definitely learned a lot about myself and the people around me. I will be keeping observing!
