Hey everyone, so today I wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately, and that’s the whole astrology thing, specifically with my placements: Libra rising and Taurus sun.
I started looking into this because, well, I’ve always been that friend who tries to keep the peace, you know? Like, if there’s an argument, I’m the one trying to find a middle ground. I never really thought much about it until a friend mentioned I might be a Libra rising. So, I did what any curious person would do and I went down the rabbit hole of birth charts and all that.
First off, getting my birth chart was a whole process. I had to dig up my exact time of birth, which involved calling my mom and then going through some old documents. After I got it all figured out, I plugged the info into one of those online calculators, and bam, there it was: Libra rising, Taurus sun.

So, from what I’ve gathered, Libra risings are all about balance and fairness. We like things to be aesthetically pleasing, and we’re pretty good at seeing different perspectives. This makes sense to me. I do find myself always trying to make sure everyone’s included and that things are fair. I hate it when there are disputes, so I try to step in and smooth things over. But I’ve also learned that this can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes, I spend so much time trying to please everyone that I end up not really making a decision at all.

This is where it gets tricky. Libra risings can be super indecisive. It’s like, I see all sides of a situation, which is great, but then I can’t pick one! I work hard, but I also believe in treating myself because, why not? I’m all about that cozy life, surrounding myself with things that make me happy. Think comfy blankets, scented candles, and a good playlist. It’s the little things that make a big difference for me.

But, of course, there’s the infamous Taurus stubbornness. Oh boy, do I have that! Once I’ve made up my mind about something, it’s hard to change it. I like to think of it as being determined, but if I’m honest, it’s definitely stubbornness. This can be a good thing when I’m working on a project and need to see it through, but it can also mean I’m not always open to change. I’m trying to be more flexible and open-minded, but old habits die hard, you know?
Putting it all together, being a Libra rising with a Taurus sun is like this constant dance between wanting everything to be harmonious and beautiful, and also being super grounded and, yeah, a bit stubborn. I’m learning to embrace all parts of it. I’m working on being more decisive while still valuing fairness and balance. And I’m definitely not giving up on creating a beautiful, comfortable life for myself.
