Alright, so the other day, I got this wild idea to mess around with astrology to see if I could figure out anything about my love life. You know, the usual – will I get married, will we break up, that sort of thing. I’ve always been a bit curious about how the stars and planets might affect relationships, so I thought, why not give it a shot?

I started by digging up my birth chart. If you’ve never done this before, it’s basically a snapshot of where all the planets were when you were born. It’s like a personal roadmap, or so they say. I used one of those online tools; you just punch in your birth date, time, and place, and boom – there’s your chart. It’s full of symbols and lines, looks pretty complicated, but I was determined to get something out of it.
First thing I focused on was this thing called the “Darakarak” – apparently, it’s the planet with the lowest degree in your chart, excluding Rahu and Ketu (I had to look those up, they’re some lunar nodes or something). Anyway, my Darakarak turned out to be Venus, which I guess makes sense since it’s all about love and relationships. Then there’s the “Gnatikarak,” which is the second lowest degree. Mine was Mars. Now, the fun part – if these two are hanging out together in your chart, especially with Rahu or Ketu, it supposedly hints at possible breakups or divorce. In my chart, Venus and Mars were in different houses, not really close, so that was a bit of a relief, I guess.
- Checking for Dual Signs: I also looked for dual signs in the 7th, 8th, or 9th houses. These are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. They say these signs mean flexibility and change, which can sometimes lead to multiple relationships. I found Gemini in my 7th house, which is the house of marriage. Does that mean I might have more than one marriage? Who knows!
- Synastry: I got into comparing my chart with my partner’s – this is called synastry. It’s like seeing how our planets vibe with each other. We had some challenging aspects, like squares and oppositions, which can mean friction, but also some good stuff, like trines and sextiles, which are supposed to be harmonious.
- Progressed Composite Charts: Then there’s this whole other level of looking at “progressed composite charts.” It’s like taking our combined chart and seeing how it evolves. It sounds complicated, and it kinda is, but the idea is to see how the relationship might change over time.
I spent hours on this, reading articles, watching videos, trying to make sense of it all. Honestly, some of it felt like a stretch, and I know there’s no scientific proof for any of this stuff. But it was a fun experiment. It got me thinking about my relationship in different ways, noticing patterns, and just reflecting on things.
My Realization
In the end, I realized that while astrology can be a cool tool for self-reflection, it’s not something I’d base major life decisions on. It’s more like a fun way to explore possibilities and maybe understand myself and my partner a bit better. Whether we stay together or not, that’s gonna depend on us, not just the stars.
So, that’s my little adventure into the world of love and astrology. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but hey, it was definitely interesting! I guess the stars can give you some hints, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the choices we make and how we treat each other. And maybe, just maybe, having a bit of fun with it along the way.
