Okay, so I got this idea to dive into the whole astrology thing, starting with my own chart. I’m a Pisces Sun, Taurus Moon – sounds kinda mystical, right? I figured, why not try to understand this stuff better, see if it actually means anything.
I started by just googling “Pisces Sun Taurus Moon.” Lots of websites popped up, but man, it was a mess. Tons of information, but it all felt so… general. Like, yeah, Pisces are dreamy and emotional, and Tauruses are grounded and practical, I guess. But what does that mean for me? And how should I use these information?
Then I decided to get my full birth chart done. I found a website that does it for free. I just have to input my birth date, time, and place. Filled in my details, hit submit, and bam! There it was, a circle with all these weird symbols and lines. I was so confused.
- First, I focused on understanding the Sun and Moon signs. Like, what do they even represent?
- Then, I started looking at the other planets. Where were they in my chart? What houses were they in?
- I also tried to figure out the aspects. You know, those lines connecting the planets? Apparently, they show how the planets interact with each other.
Honestly, it was overwhelming. I spent hours reading articles and watching videos. I kept a notebook where I jotted down notes about each planet, each sign, each house. The information is huge and I can’t get them all. It’s just too much for me to learn in a short time. I mean I can understand, but I can’t remember, that’s the problem.
After a few days of this, I started to see some patterns, maybe. Like, my Pisces Sun is in the 11th house, which is all about friendships and community. And my Taurus Moon is in the 12th house, which is about… well, it’s complicated, but let’s just say it’s about the subconscious and hidden things.
So, what did I actually learn? I will say I did learn a lot of things about astrology, the Sun, Moon, rising, and other planets. But it didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t already know about myself. Also, it didn’t tell me how to live my life, should I quit my job? Should I move to a new city? Astrology can’t tell me these things. I’m still a bit skeptical, but I guess it’s kind of interesting to think about how these celestial bodies might be influencing us. Maybe I’ll keep looking into it, just as a hobby. Or maybe I’ll just go back to watching cat videos. Who knows?
