Okay, so I’ve been messing around with astrology charts lately, and I stumbled upon something called the “Part of Fortune.” Apparently, it’s not a planet, but a calculated point that’s supposed to show where you find your joy and success. And when the Sun conjuncts it? Whoa, supposed to be a big deal.

So, I decided to check out my own chart. First, I had to find my Part of Fortune. I used one of those free online calculators – typed in my birth date, time, and place. Boom! There it was, in Leo.
Next, I needed to see where my Sun was at birth. Easy peasy, I already knew I’m a Sagittarius. But I wanted to see the exact degree and if it was anywhere close to my Part of Fortune. Turns out, they’re not in the same sign, not even close. My Sun is at 29 degrees Sagittarius, and my Part of Fortune is all the way over in Leo at 10 degrees.
Sun Conjunct Part of fortune, must be in same sign and nearly same degrees.
I was a little bummed, not gonna lie. No Sun-Part of Fortune conjunction for me. But then I thought, “Hey, let’s see what happens when the transiting Sun (that’s where the Sun is right now) hits that Leo spot.”
I pulled up a transit chart for, well, today. The Sun is currently in Taurus. So, I looked ahead, month by month. Gemini… Cancer… and then, bam! Leo season. I checked the dates, and it looks like the Sun will be around 10 degrees Leo sometime in early August.
My Little Experiment Begins!
- I’ve marked those early August dates on my calendar.
- I plan to really pay attention to how I’m feeling around that time.
- Am I feeling more energized?
- More creative?
- Do good things just seem to happen?
I’m not expecting miracles, but it’ll be interesting to see if I notice anything different. I’m keeping a little journal to jot down any significant events, feelings, or opportunities that pop up. Who knows, maybe there’s something to this whole astrology thing after all. It’s all about observing and seeing if the energies align with what’s happening in my life. Wish me luck! I’m pretty excited to track my finding.
