Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into synastry lately, you know, that astrological compatibility stuff. And I stumbled upon this aspect – Sun trine Venus – that I just had to explore with my own chart and, well, someone else’s.

First, I pulled up my birth chart. I already had it saved, because, astrology nerd, but you can easily find yours online. Just google “birth chart calculator.” You’ll need your birth date, time, and place.
Then, I got my hands on, ahem, someone else’s birth info. (With permission, of course! Always be ethical, folks.) I plugged that into the calculator too, and got their chart.
Finding the Aspect
Now for the fun part. I started looking at both charts side-by-side. It’s like a cosmic puzzle. I was specifically searching for my Sun and their Venus, and vice versa. The Sun is that big circle with a dot in the middle, and Venus looks like the female symbol. Easy peasy.
Next, I checked the degrees. Each planet is in a specific degree of a zodiac sign. To see if there’s a trine, you want them to be about 120 degrees apart. Give or take a few degrees, it’s still considered a trine. It is not very difficult.
I was kind of holding my breath, I’m not gonna lie. And… boom! There it was. My Sun was in Sagittarius at, like, 15 degrees, and their Venus was in Leo at 18 degrees. That’s pretty much a perfect trine!
I also checked if that person’s sun and my venus are trine. The same steps, I located that person’s Sun position and my Venus position.
Finally, I found they trine too!
What It All Means (to Me)
- I felt pretty excited when that aspect showed. After seeing the result, I began to feel that “warm fuzzies” and “butterflies” stuff is real.
- It’s like the universe is giving us a thumbs-up. It’s a really harmonious aspect, supposed to make things flow easily.
- I realized that it is just one aspect, and there’s a whole chart full of other stuff going on, but it’s definitely a promising sign.
I’m still figuring out what all this means in the grand scheme of things. This whole astrology thing is a journey, right? But finding this Sun trine Venus aspect definitely made my day and gave me something fun to think about.
