Okay, so, about this “Taurus Sun Sagittarius Rising” thing, I wasn’t even sure what it meant when I first heard it. But my friend, she’s super into astrology, kept going on about how everyone’s got these signs and they shape who you are. I kinda rolled my eyes, not gonna lie, but then I got curious.

So, I started digging around a bit. Found out my sun sign is Taurus – which, okay, I can see that. I like nice things, good food, and I’m pretty stubborn. Then I found this rising sign thing, and apparently, mine is Sagittarius. That was a head-scratcher. I mean, Sagittarius is all about adventure and being wild, and I’m more of a “stay home with a good book” kind of guy.
My Exploration
- Looked up my sun sign, Taurus.
- Figured out my rising sign is Sagittarius.
- Read a bunch of stuff online, some made sense, some was totally out there.
Anyway, I decided to do a little experiment. See if this Sagittarius thing had any truth to it. I started small. Instead of my usual weekend routine of doing absolutely nothing, I signed up for a hiking trip. Me, hiking. It was weird just thinking about it.
The hike was…interesting. I complained a lot, ngl, mostly to myself. My legs were killing me, I was sweating buckets, and I kept thinking about the comfy couch I could be on. But then, we got to the top of this hill, and the view was actually amazing. I felt this weird little thrill, like, “Hey, I actually did this.”
Since then, I’ve been trying to push myself a bit more. Nothing crazy, just little things. I tried a new restaurant last week – Ethiopian food, super spicy, not something I’d usually go for. And I actually liked it! I even booked a trip to a music festival next month. A music festival! Who am I?
Little Changes, Big Feels
- Went hiking, hated and loved it.
- Tried that Ethiopian food.
- Said yes to the music festival.
I’m still not sure if I totally buy into the whole astrology thing, but it’s been a fun way to shake things up. It is just so strange that I start feeling something that I never thought I would have. Maybe there’s something to this Taurus Sun, Sagittarius Rising combo after all. It’s like, I still love my comfort and routine, but there’s this little spark in me now, this urge to explore and try new things. It’s kinda cool, actually.
I don’t know if I become another person now or in the future, but what I could say for sure is that I enjoy these changes in my life. I guess what really matters is that whether we believe in these astrology things or not, what really matters is we believe in ourselves, and sometimes, some changes are good, right?
