Okay, so, let’s talk about this “the sun as outcome” thing I’ve been messing around with. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.

It all started with a simple idea: What if I could somehow make my day feel sunnier, even when it’s gloomy outside? You know, bring a bit of that sunshine energy into my life, no matter what the weather’s doing. I’m not talking about actually changing the weather, of course. I’m no magician! But I figured there had to be some ways to capture that sunny vibe.
So, I started brainstorming. First thing I did was get a big sheet of paper and a marker. I just started writing down anything that came to mind when I thought of the sun. Warmth, light, energy, happiness… you get the idea. Then I started thinking about how I could bring those things into my daily routine.
My Little Experiments
- Wake up early: This was a tough one, but I figured the sun is up early, so I should be too. I started setting my alarm a bit earlier each day, just to catch those first rays of light. It actually made a difference! Felt more energized, even if I was a bit grumpy at first.
- Brighten up my space: I bought some yellow curtains, a few plants, and even a sun-shaped lamp. It sounds silly, but having those little reminders of sunshine around me really lifted my mood.
- Get moving: I started taking walks in the park during my lunch break. Even if it was cloudy, just being outside and feeling the air on my skin made me feel more connected to the natural world, and kind of sun-like, you know?
- Sun breaks: When work got stressful, I’d take a “sun break.” I’d step outside or just sit by a window for a few minutes, close my eyes, and imagine the sun’s warmth on my face. It was like a mini-vacation.
- Eat sunny foods: I know it sounds weird, but I started eating more oranges, pineapples, and other yellow and orange fruits and veggies. It felt like I was eating sunshine!
I also did some reading and watched some videos about the sun and some related phenomena, just to get a feel for it. I found out that solar flares can cause geomagnetic storms. And they are sudden bursts of radiation. Sounds scary, right? But it also sounds powerful and full of energy. I’m not saying I want to be a solar flare, but the idea of harnessing that kind of energy, even in a small way, was kind of inspiring.
The Result
So, after a few weeks of this, did I actually turn into the sun? No, obviously not. But did I feel sunnier? You bet! I felt more energized, more positive, and just generally happier. It was like I had created my own little ecosystem of sunshine, even on the cloudiest days.
This whole thing taught me that you don’t need to be a scientist or have fancy equipment to change how you feel. Sometimes, it’s just about making small changes, being mindful of your surroundings, and finding ways to connect with the things that make you happy. And for me, that’s the sun. Or, you know, my version of it.
