Okay, so I’ve been messing around with some old grimoires lately, you know, for fun and personal growth, and I stumbled upon the 4th pentacle of the Sun. It’s supposed to help you see hidden things, spirits, that kind of stuff. I was like, “Alright, let’s give this a shot!”

First, I printed out the pentacle. I found a decent image online and made sure it was clear and all that. I didn’t want some blurry, messed-up version messing with the, uh, energies or whatever.
Getting Started
I decided to do this at night because, well, that just felt right. More mystical, you know? I cleared a space in my living room, lit some candles (mostly for ambiance, but hey, maybe it helps?), and laid the pentacle flat on the floor.
Then I just… sat there. I focused on the pentacle, trying to clear my mind. It’s harder than it sounds! Thoughts kept popping up: “Did I lock the door?” “What’s for dinner tomorrow?” “Is this even going to work?” It took a while, but I finally got into a sort of meditative state, just staring at the intricate design.
The “Experiment”
- I tried to visualize opening my “third eye,” whatever that means.
- I repeated the names associated with the pentacle, kind of like a mantra. I’m not even sure I was pronouncing them right, to be honest.
- I waited. And waited.
Honestly, at first, nothing happened. Like, absolutely nothing. I started to feel a little silly, sitting there in the dark, staring at a piece of paper. But I figured I’d committed, so I kept going.
Then… I don’t know. It’s hard to describe. I didn’t see any ghostly figures floating around or anything, but I did get this weird… feeling. Like a tingling sensation, and the room felt a bit… different. Colder, maybe? It was subtle, but definitely noticeable.
I kept focusing and after what was about half an hour I think, I started to see…something. Just at the begining, it looks like a small light dot, and it is flashing. Then the flashing dot became a clear vision: It is a man in black robe and his face looks clam and peaceful. I tried to talk to him but he just disappeared.
The Aftermath
I sat there for a few more minutes, letting the feeling fade. Then I blew out the candles, folded up the pentacle, and went to bed. Did I see any spirits? Not in the traditional sense. Did I experience something? Yeah, I think I did. Was it the pentacle, or just my imagination running wild? Who knows. But it was definitely an interesting experience, and I might even try it again sometime.
So, that’s my little adventure with the 4th pentacle of the Sun. Not exactly a Hollywood blockbuster, but hey, it’s something, right?
