Okay, so, I tried out this thing called “Yes/No Tarot Lotus” today, and I gotta tell you about it. I’ve been kinda stumped on this decision lately, and someone told me tarot might help. I’m not usually into this kind of stuff, but I figured, why not give it a shot, right?

First, I searched for this thing, and there were all these different ways to do it. Seemed like the basic idea was to just pull one card and get a “yes” or “no” answer. Some places online would do it for you, but I decided to try it with my own deck. It is just sitting there all the time and I never use it, I should use it, shouldn’t I?
I cleared a little space on my desk and gave my cards a good shuffle. While I was shuffling, I focused on my question, really tried to pour my energy into it. It’s a pretty big deal for me, so I wanted to make sure I was doing this right. You know?
Once I felt like the cards were shuffled enough, I cut the deck into three piles and then put them back together. Then, I fanned the cards out face down and just hovered my hand over them, trying to feel… I don’t know… something. This one card just seemed to call out to me, so I picked it.
- The Card: I flipped it over, and it was The Magician.
Now, I had to figure out if this was a “yes” or a “no.” I remembered reading somewhere that upright cards are usually “yes” and reversed are “no,” but there are some tricky ones. I looked up The Magician online, and it mostly said it’s a “yes” card, which was kinda cool because it’s about using your skills and resources, which is totally relevant to my question.
Here is what I did to help me make the decision:
- Clear My Mind: I needed to start fresh. No preconceived notions, just open to whatever the cards had to say. It’s like hitting a reset button in my brain.
- Shuffle with Intention: This wasn’t just a random shuffle. I held the cards and focused hard on my question. I imagined my question floating into the cards as I shuffled them. It felt a bit silly, but I went with it.
- Draw a Card: When I felt ready, I spread the cards out and picked one. It wasn’t a conscious choice; I just went with the one that felt right.
I spent some time just looking at the card, thinking about what it could mean in the context of my question. The Magician felt really positive, like it was telling me I have what it takes to make this thing happen. It wasn’t a straight-up “yes” or “no” answer, but it gave me a lot to think about. I think I am gonna do it!
So, yeah, that was my little tarot adventure. I am really happy that I tried it and get a satisfying result. It was a cool way to approach my problem from a different angle. I might try it again sometime, who knows?
