Okay, so, I’ve been getting into this whole tarot thing lately, and I decided to try out a “yes/no” tarot reading. It’s supposed to be a simple way to get quick answers, you know?

First, I grabbed my tarot deck. I’ve been using the Rider-Waite deck, it’s pretty classic and I find the images easy to understand. I sat down at my table, lit a candle – just to set the mood, you know – and shuffled the cards. While I shuffled, I focused on my question. It was a simple one: “Should I take that new job offer?”
I shuffled and shuffled, really trying to put my energy into the cards. Then, I cut the deck into three piles and picked the middle one. I fanned out the cards facedown and just let my intuition guide me. I closed my eyes for a second, took a deep breath, and picked a card.
- Flipped it over, and boom, it was The Sun.
- Now, in the Rider-Waite deck, The Sun is a pretty positive card. It’s all about success, optimism, and good vibes.
I took that as a strong “yes.” Feeling pretty good about it, I decided to pull another card, just for clarification. I reshuffled the remaining cards, focused on my question again, and pulled another one.
- This time, it was the Three of Swords.
- Ouch. That card is usually associated with heartbreak and disappointment.
Talk about mixed signals, right? I was a bit confused. So, I decided to do one more pull, a tie-breaker, if you will. Shuffled, focused, and pulled.
- And I got… The Star.
- Another positive card! The Star is all about hope, renewal, and inspiration.
Okay, so two out of three were positive. I decided to interpret this as a “yes, but be aware of potential challenges.” Which, honestly, makes sense for any big decision, right? After all these readings, I wrote them down in detail in my Tarot Journal.
I’m still not sure if tarot cards can actually predict the future. But, this whole “yes/no” reading thing was a fun exercise. It definitely made me think more deeply about the job offer and what I really want. I mean, it is not always 100% correct, maybe just about 80%. I think I will keep practicing it. After all, it can be an amazing experience to try at least once.
